These were the first single families to be built under Northern Virginia's Habitat Program. The Christopher Companies not only donated the land for the four homes, but our staff members volunteered for Habitat work days. Its subcontractors provided very attractive material and labor costs and Christopher provided technical support for construction and Fairfax County permitting and inspection transactions. The first two Habitat for Humanity homes were officially dedicated to their families in August 2005. The Christopher Companies are proud to work with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia to help provide housing to deserving families who would otherwise not be able to purchase a new home in Fairfax County. http://www.christophercompanies.com/about_us/news.html Sat, 02 Jan 2008 11:39:41 -0400 The Christopher Companies is taking part in the initial development of Women Giving Back (WGB), a group associated with HomeAid of Northern Virginia.
